Anxiety Therapy and Functional Nutrition Education in Minnesota

Your Mind Is Racing. Your Gut Is Reacting. You’re Tired of Trying to Fix Them Separately.

You know the drill. You feel that familiar, tight knot in your stomach before the day even really starts, and by early afternoon, the bloating or sudden physical tension hits out of nowhere. You’ve tried reading the wellness books, cutting out foods, and deep-breathing your way through panic, but your body still feels like it's bracing for impact.

You are analytical, proactive, and used to figuring things out on your own. But it feels like your nervous system and your digestive tract are locked in a relentless feedback loop where one sets off the other.

You may recognize some of this:

  • Waking up with a sudden wave of morning dread that immediately triggers your stomach

  • Avoiding certain places or social outings because you're worried about physical flare-ups

  • Feeling like you have to micromanage your daily routine just to get through the day comfortably

  • A constant low hum of anxiety that lives physically in your body

  • Replaying conversations or decisions while your digestion twists itself into knots

  • Feeling frustrated when mainstream advice tells you to "just relax" when your physical body is clearly sounding an alarm

What We Do in Sessions

Anxiety and gut health are profoundly connected through the gut-brain axis, but most healthcare treats them as if they live in completely different universes. In our sessions, we won't treat your symptoms as random inconveniences or just tell you to meditate more.

We’ll spend our time connecting the dots between your biology and your story. As your co-pilot and health detective, my goal isn't to hand you a rigid, punishing protocol. Instead, we use a whole-systems lens to explore how your history, relationships, daily stress, nervous system, and your physical health meet.

A lot of my clients spent years feeling dismissed by providers who told them "all your labs look fine" while they felt terrible, or feeling like their anxiety was a spiritual failure. It isn't either of those things. It usually means your brilliant, high-capacity body got recruited into a job it wasn't built for. Reaching out for root-cause, faith-honoring support isn't a lack of trust—it’s good stewardship.

What Getting Better Looks Like

The goal isn't a life completely free of stress. It's getting your life back.

Clients who work through this find that their baseline shifts. Eating a meal or moving through a busy day doesn't feel like a high-stakes gamble anymore. They notice they can experience a stressful moment without their physical body immediately staging a revolt. The constant background static of tension quiets down, leaving room for actual peace, presence with your family, and energy left over at the end of the day.

You don't have to keep managing your gut and your anxiety on opposite sides of your life.

If this sounds like your daily reality, let's connect.
