ADHD Therapy and Functional Nutrition Education in Minnesota

Your Brain Moves a Million Miles an Hour. Your Body Reacts to Everything You Eat. You Deserve Care That Understands Both.

Living with ADHD means your brain is constantly processing, switching gears, and seeking stimulation—which is exhausting enough on its own. But on top of the mental load, you feel like you're constantly fighting your own physical body. You notice that certain foods leave you feeling foggy, bloated, or entirely dysregulated, but trying to track, plan, or maintain a restrictive diet feels like a cruel executive-function test.

You are brilliant, creative, and capable, but you're tired of systems that require a neurotypical brain and an endless supply of willpower to execute.

You may recognize some of this:

  • Starting a new health or elimination protocol with high hopes, only to completely stall out when routine fatigue sets in

  • Noticing that when your diet slips or inflammation flares, your focus, emotional regulation, and brain fog get noticeably worse

  • Feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of nutrition advice out there that doesn't account for how an ADHD brain actually works

  • Relying on caffeine, sugar, or high-stimulation habits just to get your brain to cross the finish line of a workday

  • Experiencing sensory sensitivities around food textures, preparation, or eating when you're overwhelmed

  • Feeling a quiet shame that you "should" be able to stay consistent with your health goals, wondering why it feels so heavy

What We Do in Sessions

Traditional healthcare treats your neurodivergence in one room and your physical health in another, as if your brain and your gut aren't housed in the exact same body. For high-achieving women with ADHD, chronic overwhelm and physical inflammation feed into each other in a powerful loop.

In our sessions, I won't hand you a rigid, multi-page meal plan that requires a neurotypical level of executive functioning to maintain. As your co-pilot and health detective, we’ll work with how your brain naturally operates.

We look at the whole picture - connecting the dots between your brain, sensory experience, daily rhythms, stress, relationships, and your biology. We build flexible, realistic strategies that honor your capacity, rather than forcing you into a mold that leaves you feeling defeated. You don't have to choose between managing your mind and caring for your physical health.

What Getting Better Looks Like

The goal isn't achieving clinical perfection or forcing yourself into a rigid box. It's finding a sustainable rhythm where your body and your mind can actually work together.

Clients who navigate this find that their mental clarity sharpens when the physical inflammatory triggers are quieted. Meal times and self-care stop feeling like high-stakes executive function tests and start feeling manageable. They gain deep self-compassion, learn how to support their nervous system, and finally stop fighting themselves every step of the way.

You don't have to keep juggling your brain and your body on separate tracks.

If you're ready for a space that gets how your mind and biology work together, let's connect.
