Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! I offer both in-person therapy and secure telehealth sessions for adults throughout Minnesota.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you're hoping to change, and begin creating a plan that feels right for you. You'll also have plenty of time to ask questions along the way.
Not at all. While my practice has a special interest in the connection between mental health, nutrition, and the body, every client's goals are different. Some clients enjoy exploring these topics, while others simply want a supportive place to process life's challenges.
Therapy sessions focus on your mental and emotional health. At times, I may incorporate education about topics like stress, sleep, the gut-brain connection, or other lifestyle factors when they're relevant to your goals.I also offer nutrition counseling through a separate professional practice. Nutrition counseling and therapy are distinct services and are not combined within therapy sessions.
Yes, if you'd like. For clients who would find it meaningful and want to incorporate their Christian faith into therapy, I'm happy to integrate it into our work together. For others, therapy remains grounded in evidence-based mental health care without a faith-based approach.
I am a private-pay practice. My current fee is $150 per 50-minute session.I also reserve a limited number of reduced-fee appointments for clients with financial need. We can discuss availability during your consultation.
No. I do not bill insurance and instead operate as a private-pay practice. This allows our work together to be guided by your needs and goals rather than insurance requirements.
The best place to start is by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation. We'll briefly talk about what you're looking for, answer any questions you have, and decide together whether moving forward feels like the right fit.
